Our Story
For many years, volunteers with the WARM Ministry (Women Assisting Recovering Mothers) of Riverbend Community Church have been ministering to women who have graduated from the program and still live in the local area, helping with needs, transportation to appointments and church services. After years of praying, we are excited to announce the official start-up of Finally Free, a companion ministry to the WARM Ministry.
Finally Free will broaden that vision by offering these helps, plus evangelism and discipleship to the sober-living community at large.
With the Lord’s gracious enablement, Finally Free has obtained meeting space First Christian Church on Palmetto Avenue in Daytona Beach. We plan to use this central location setting for large-group classes, one-on-one Bible study, evangelism and discipleship for those in sober living or anyone in the downtown area interested in Bible study.
Our Mission
The Finally Free ministry strives to disciple men and women, to grow in the profound love, grace and saving faith in Jesus Christ. We are a ministry at Riverbend Community Church and our fervent hope is for each person to embrace their God-given purpose, forsake their sins and turn to Christ Jesus. We foster spiritual growth, personal responsibility, community engagement and church participation.
